LIMITED VS. FULL REGISTRATION:  ALL PUPS ARE SOLD WITH LIMITED AKC REGISTRATION PAPERS (PETS),  UNLESS YOU SPECIFY THAT YOU WOULD LIKE THE OPTION TO BREED OR SHOW IN CONFORMATION (FULL REGISTRATION).  THEY ARE STILL AKC REGISTERED IF THEY ARE ON A LIMITED REGISTRATION, THEIR OFFSPRING JUST CANNOT BE REGISTERED WITH THE AKC.  IF ACQUIRING FULL REGISTRATION, PLEASE UNDERSTAND IF WE WISH TO HAVE A SAY IN YOUR CHOICE OF DOG IF YOU ARE GOING TO BREED, TO ENSURE ONLY THE “BEST OF THE BEST” ARE SELECTED TO INFLUENCE THIS WONDERFUL BREED. WE DO ALSO REQUIRE A SPECIAL WRITTEN CONTRACT FOR FULL REGISTRATION, ENSURING THAT ANY DOG BRED IS BEING BRED TO THE SAME STANDARDS THAT WE BREED.

We hold our breeding to a higher standard than most, therefore, you will find we also hold our new puppy owners to a high standard. Please be prepared to care for a puppy to your best ability with high quality food, supplements, and provide the best environment possible for your puppy to thrive and live a long, healthy life.

Reservations:

 Because our pups are in great demand, most have deposits on them and are sold before they are born or soon after. It is wise to reserve early after reviewing all of our kennel information and information on each particular litter. You may request pictures via email or Facebook messenger of the parents of each litter and the puppies if that information is not on our website or Facebook page. You may choose a litter, color and gender of the pup, we will then place each puppy we best see fit to each family. We require a $100 non-refundable Puppy Application Fee (due when application is approved) to be added to our waitlist. Once a litter is born and you are ready to move forward, we require you to place a non-refundable holding fee of $550 (due when the puppies turn 2 weeks of age) we also require you to complete and submit the holding fee agreement (signed and dated). Once your non-refundable holding fee is placed (check sent certified mail with, or payment made via Good Dog), the balance is not due until the puppy is picked up at 8 weeks old (if being transported we require the remaining balance be paid in full 10 business days before they are scheduled to be picked up). We schedule people to pick their puppy up at 7 1/2 - 8 weeks old.  Please call ahead or email us for pricing on the particular litter you are interested in if not stated on our website or Facebook page.  Our “pets” may be priced slightly different than our “show/ competition dogs” and our show/ competition/ service homes will have priority when it comes to placing our puppies.  

Once your reservation is placed, we highly encourage you to like and follow our Facebook page ( Riverine Retrievers) to get the most recent updates! If you do not have Facebook we will send emails including pictures of the litter every couple weeks, so that you don’t miss out on this wonderful time.
*NOTE We do NOT allow puppy buyers to visit the litter prior to the pick-up time, due to health concerns of the litter and due to our home owners insurance policy. This is why we make sure to “keep you in the loop” with regular pictures and videos of your new addition!
