As of January 1st 2022 we will have some policy changes put into place when it comes to our program. Here are a list of changes you will see going into the new year.

* Pictures- We will be changing our weekly pictures policy. Pictures take a great deal of time and it's extremely difficult to find and extra pair of hands to help with the process every week, especially when we have more than one litter on the ground. There for pictures will now be taken when puppies are born, at 3 weeks, then again at 6 and 7 weeks of age.

* Change in our Contract- There will be a change to our contract. We do not guarantee the removal of dewclaws, we never have as it is a cosmetic procedure done by a licensed Veterinarian, but due to having a few grow backs in our past litters we will be putting verbal wordage into our contract going forward stating we in fact do not guarantee they will not grow back. *Please note we will still remove dewclaws on all our field bred litters.*

* AKC Registration- Going forward we will be registering EVERY puppy that leaves Riverine Retrievers the day they go home. This is to ensure we hit and maintain 100% registration on the puppies we produce and to help us reach our goal of becoming AKC Breeders of Merit.

* AKC Reunite- We Microchip all of our puppies before going home, only a small percentage of people are linking their information to the chip after they go home. To be sure the new owners information is being linked to the microchip we will be doing that at the time of pick up.

* Sales Tax- All puppies sold will have a 5% sales tax added to their purchase price.
